I’m thrilled to share this news! There’s a new healthy pet store in Olympia:

It’s located near the Fred Meyer and CostCo in Tumwater, on the other side of the freeway. The store is in a strip mall with a hardware store, pharmacy, Jack in the Box, and other strip mall-y kinds of stores.
The store is spacious, its aisles are wide, their shelves are full but uncluttered, and the whole place is very clean.
They carry my favorite foods and toys. Much of what you find at Mud Bay is on the shelves at Fluffy & Floyd’s, in addition to many other healthy, natural and organic foods and supplies that Mud Bay doesn’t carry.
Fluffy & Floyd’s also carries a small, but excellent, selection of DVDs (mostly on dog training) and books. In my first trip there, I purchased The Cautious Canine: How to Help Dogs Conquer Their Fears and The Other End of the Leash: Why We Do What We Do Around Dogs both by Patricia B. McConnell (and a bunch of food, treats, and toys). (View my library of animal-related books at LibraryThing.)
I like having this new store as an option for healthy dog and cat supplies. And I feel super-lucky that it’s so close to my house!
