Distinguished Award in Design

The Society for Technical Communication (STC) is an international organization of technical communicators coming together to foster quality in print and online technical publications. In 1997, Marianne Moon and Jerry Joyce’s books for Microsoft Press won STC’s highest award: the Distinguished Award in Design.

Merit Award in Software User Guides

In 1997, Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 4.0 At a Glance also by Marianne Moon and Jerry Joyce, won STC’s Merit Award in Software User Guides.

PNW/ASI Volunteer Recognition

I received a plaque from the Volunteer Recognition Committee of the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the American Society of Indexers for my work as the coordinator of several committees during 1999-2000.
