Fertilizer by Fido (Composting Pet Waste)

If you compost (or want to compost) and you’ve got a dog, did you know you can compost dog poo!?

I heard about the “Doggie Doo Composter” on a radio show called ISLA Earth.

Would you use this compost on a garden of edible plants? I’m not sure if I would. But then, I get my vegetable garden compost from local farmers who compost their horse poop – so what’s the difference?

Any thoughts?
